And FOX 26 Chief Meteorologist Dr. Jim Siebert said residents in the Houston area could expect to see freezing temperatures Wednesday night. Temperatures dropped to the 30's Tuesday night after a cold front brought in rain and high winds across southeast Texas, Siebert said. However, temperatures are expected to rise to the 50's by Thursday and then to 70's by the weekend, Siebert said.
